Alyson Stanfield, the Art Biz Coach, started her blog four years ago November 30, 2004. I note this anniversary because Alyson's information on building an art business is of supreme value to me. Her information and example on the value of artist's blogs is one reason I am blogging. I enjoyed reading her first blog post, and discovered to my amusement that I was her first ever blog commenter!
Today is a good day to remind my readers of Alyson and her services, which include one on one consulting, live workshops, books, online classes, free newsletters, articles, and the blog. Wow, Carla! First, it's good to be back here. I haven't heard from you in awhile. Second, I didn't even notice you were the first commenter. That is COOL! Third, Thank you for mentioning the book sale. I'm very excited to get more copies out and into the hands of artists who need the information.

yes! i saw! (and it reminded me to come visit) isn't it cool to be first at something like that?! BTW, do you have a subscription block somewhere here on your blog so I can have it delivered to my email? That way I can be sure to keep up with you (love that love charm in your side bar)

Thank you both for visiting and commenting. Yes, Alyson, I have been traveling around, stretching my wings in new ways. Tammy, you are my artmaking role model. I used to have a subscribe box. Where did it go? I'll find it and put it back on. Thanks for mentioning that.

I receive Alyson's newsletter, even though I'm not an artist or a business owner. It's so good and I figure I might need it some day! I have been unsuccessful in logging into gaia.com. I don't know what the problem is, but I'll keep trying. In the meantime, this is the only place I have to keep up with you so I hope you'll write more often.
