Saying Your Enthusiastic YES to the Universe

I've learned learned a lot about gratitude since the Sagittarius New Moon. I learned a way to amplify gratitude with erotic energy, which I shared in last week's letter. You can read about Planting Seeds of Gratitude here. Now Spirit is revealing a new level of gratitude mastery: how to say Yes, Thank You! when the Universe starts sending you what you asked for! Right after New Moon, blessings I have been praying for started dropping in my lap, knocking on my door, and calling me on the phone. A new lover, extraordinary new clients, gifts of the Spirit! I have been amazed and grateful, and resistant! I can feel the reflexive action of putting my hands up, backing away, and shaking my head, while I feel a little trembly and scared – and awed. I caught myself, and started immediately to ground, open, and receive. This is taking a lot of awareness and discipline. Yes, the practice of surrender, opening, receiving, and allowing is a discipline. So many women learned to hold both desire and its manifestation at arms length. Gratitude Mastery is finding and hollering at the top of your voice: YES! Open your arms and legs and let it in! This is the practice I offer to you when the fruit of your abundance tree falls in your lap. Throw back your head, fling your arms open and smile big at the world, then say YES! Thank you! No matter what the gift is. When I said YES to the Long Dance, my car broke down and needed serious repairs. Like, time to get a new car repairs. YES to a new car (and safety!) The weather turned cold and snowy for my outdoor overnight dance. YES to the elements and the power of Divine support demonstrated! When I said YES to the Long Dance, the clients, the lover, and the deeper more demanding calling, I said YES to fear and courage, showing up in equal measure! When the Universe answers prayer, and demonstrates to you the power you have to create your life, it can feel scary, and not always safe or easy. Gratitude mastery has faith that all you need to thrive and prevail and enjoy is in the package. Notice how your feel when your gifts arrive, even when they seem like problems on the surface. Your wholehearted, full-bodied YES is your gracious response to the Universe.
